Structured Technical Enhancement Program (STEP) is an initiative by Electronics Sector Skill Council of India (ESSCI) to provide Electronics Product Design Engineers in core engineering Area of ESDM Space for the Global Market.

STEP is a jumpstart to the students to keep them moving ahead in their careers. It will create more entrepreneurs to fill the space in Electronics Design & Manufacturing.

STEP Affiliation

Engineering collage can get affiliated with ESSCI and run STEP (Structured Technical Enhancement Program training) courses in your campus. ESSCI will provide necessary support. Collage can apply online through ESSCI portal. Collage will be affiliated within 3 months.

Delivery Plan- Phase 1

Mandatory Foundation Module

  • This includes C & Data Structure, Logic Design, RTL Design, and Basic Electronics
  • It will be run through semester 1, semester 2, semester 3 and semester 4
  • Assignment at the end of 4th semester
  • Bridge course for those who couldn’t attend the foundation course

Qualification Pack (QP) based training courses - 80% Hands on and 20% theory

  • It will be run through semester 5, semester 6, Semester 7, and last semester
  • Assignment by ESSCI at the end of last semester
  • Certification by ESSCI & NSDC
  • Enrolment by selection post foundation / bridge completion
